Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDNA BERNIER (nee PAYNE) Peacefully, on October 28, 1999 at Tache Nursing Centre, in her 98th year. Edna was predeceased by her parents, husband George, and her beloved son Edward. Edna had been an employee of Eatons for some years prior to retiring. Despite adversities, she was sustained by her faith, astuteness and a wit enjoyed by friends and acquaintances. Funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 5 at the Tache Nursing Centre, which had been Ednas home for the past three years. Following Mass, interment of ashes will take place at Assumption Cemetery. Thanks are extended to all Tache Nursing Centre staff for the years of care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, if wished to St. Francis Friary, 211 Edmonton St., Winnipeg, St. Marys Cathedral, 353 St, Mary Ave., Winnipeg, or Tache Nursing Centre.
