SHARON CHOPEK Sharon Chopek passed away after a lengthy illness at Health Sciences Centre on October 28, 1999. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Lawrence; son Tracy, daughter Tammy and grandson Alex; by her brother Melvin (Myrna), sisters, Lee (Ron), Maxine, Darlene (Roy) and special friend Lavern, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Herman Saunders (1981) and mother Margaret (1991). Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with viewing one hour prior. Cremation to follow and interment of ashes to take place at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Guy Mitchel, Clayton Saunders, Destry Loutit, Ron Novakowski and Lenny Berry. God saw her getting tired, A cure was not to be, So He wrapped her in His loving arms, And whispered, "Come with Me." She suffered much in silence, Her spirit did not bend, She faced her pain with courage, Until the very end. She tried so hard to stay with us, Her fight was all in vain, God took her to His loving home, And freed her from all pain. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
