GLENN S. HUTCHINSON 1918 - 1999 It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and Papa, Glenn, on Sunday, October 31, 1999. Left with treasured memories is his wife of 53 years, Margaret; son Bob (Maggie) and daughter Gail Janzen and his precious granddaughters, Krystle and Kimberley Janzen; sister Jean Beauchemin as well as many in-laws. Glenn was predeceased by his mother and father. Dad was born June 30, 1918 in Westbourne, Manitoba, moving to Headingley. He was a skilled and wonderful carpenter, retiring from the Winnipeg School Division. In his retirement years he took up the sport of golf which he enjoyed up until the beginning of October. He was thrilled and so proud when his granddaughters took to the Links with him. Glenn enjoyed the camaraderie of his many friends and loved his golf trips. During the winter months, Dad could be found down at Heights Archery Lanes where he soon became a skilled archer at the age of 75. Dad will be remembered for his sense of humour, his love of golf, his love for life and the unconditional love for his granddaughters, Krystle and Kimberley. Well miss him dearly. Glenns funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. in Deer Lodge United Church, 2093 Portage Ave. at Belvidere Street. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Our family would like to thank all staff at Grace General Hospital, 4 West for the wonderful care, compassion and love given to Dad over these past two weeks. Your care and compassion will always be remembered. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Glenns memory may be made to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9, or to a charity of ones choice. Glenns family has entrusted his arrangements to the care of: WOJCIKS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
