EILEEN ROSE McLENNAN Peacefully, with her daughter Alice by her side, on Saturday, October 30, 1999 at the Selkirk and District General Hospital, Eileen McLennan, aged 90 years, a lifelong resident of Netley, Man. Besides her loving daughter Alice, she leaves to mourn her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her dad, James in 1941; her mom, Mary in 1958; sisters, Lizzie in 1957 and Ella in 1993; brother, Robert in 1986; son, Gordon in 1974; sons-in-law Melvin Mackay in 1969 and Harry Fisher in 1996. Eileen enjoyed many things such as knitting, crocheting, bingo, travelling and cards, especially cribbage. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, November 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 4 at 11:00 a.m. also in the chapel. Interment to follow in the St. Georges Cemetery, Wakefield, Man. He pallbearers will be Pat Riley, Jimmy Law, Franklin Thidrickson, John Mackay, Gordon Taylor and Blair Didychuk. If friends so desire, donations in Eileens name can be made to the charity of one choice. Special thanks to Dr. G. Fuchs and the nursing staff at the Selkirk General Hospital and also the staff at Selkirk Home care, for their wonderful care to Little Peanut as she was affectionately known as. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
