SUSAN DIANE STUCKY
Date of Passing: Oct 30, 1999
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySUSAN DIANE STUCKY Peacefully on October 30, 1999 after a courageous battle with cancer, Susan Diane Stucky left the earth to be with her Lord. Susan recently celebrated her 50th birthday on August 10. She is survived by her father Sidney; children, Lana (Doug), Leasa (Charlie), and Lori; grandchildren, Samantha, Karen and Sabrina. Cherished by all who knew her Susan was a caring, kind and unselfish person. She was always willing to extend a hand to a friend in need. She was like sunshine on a cloudy day, cheering people up when they were feeling down. When Susan walked into a room, her presence radiated with joy and laughter. Susan faithfully attended church and knew Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour. Mom had a great love for God and reading her bible was part of it. Susan was many things to her family, a mother, a father figure, a grandmother, a source of strength and a best friend. Moms passions in life were cooking and sewing, but above all being a grandmother. Wed like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Maxwell as well as the staff of the 5th floor of the Victoria Hospital for all their care and support during Moms illness. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. A celebration of Susans life will be held at Waves of Glory, 364 Furby St. on Thursday, November 4 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family would gratefully appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. The Desjardins Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements; 233-4949.
