ROSE WUSYK (MINCHERA) On Thursday, October 28, 1999 at the Donwood Personal Care Home, Rose Wusyk of Winnipeg, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years. Rose was predeceased by her two husbands, Peter Stanford and John Wusyk; stepson Joe Wusyk; daughter Ruth Hazen and son Bryan Stanford. Left to mourn are her friends and family, John Hazen (Sherry and John), Jim Hazen and family, Holly Hazen, Corey (Lindy) Stanford, Dan Stanford and Erin and Donna Main. Rose was born May 5, 1907. She married Peter Stanford and they had two children, Ruth and Bryan. After his death, she married John Wusyk and they enjoyed 42 wonderful years together. Rose lived in East Kildonan most of her life, until moving to Donwood Personal Care Home in 1992. Grandma will always be remembered for her superb cooking and hardworking nature. Those who knew her loved her and those who loved her will deeply miss her. A celebration of Roses life will take place Wednesday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in the Garden of Everlasting Life, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow at Glen Eden Funeral Home. A special thank you to the staff at Donwood Personal Care Home for their wonderful care of Rose.
