NELLIE WALPOLE 1897 - 1999 In loving memory and sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on November 1, 1999 at Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall. She was predeceased by her first husband Joe Lyne in 1962, her second husband Reg Walpole in 1977, brothers, Bill, Jack, Norman and Fred, sisters Elizabeth and Cathy. Nellie leaves to mourn her passing daughter Gladys, grandchildren Larry (Judith), Rick (Beth), Sheryl (Richard), Bev (Doug) great-grandchildren Jason, Erin, Kelly, Stuart, Laura and Elissa, and great-great-grandson Tristan and numerous nieces and nephews. Nellie was blessed with many friendships both recent and lifelong. She was born in the Manitou District and spent her life in that area until 1977 when she moved to Fisher Branch residing in the Fisher Branch Chalet until 1997, when she moved to the Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall. She had a great zest for life and thanks to the homecare staff in Fisher Branch, she was able to live on her own for many years. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 4 at the Fisher Funeral Home, Fisher Branch at 2:00 p.m. Nellie will be laid to rest in the Fisherton Community Cemetery. Mr. Doug Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations be sent to the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home or Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall.
