DONALD ALFONSO Peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 1999 Donald Alfonso passed away at Misericordia Care Centre. Donald will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years Rose; son Rick and wife Joanne and family; daughter Helen Harvey of Arizona and family; Pat Edmunds of Calgary and family; and numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Donald was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Joseph, James and Frank; and sisters, Mamie, Mallie and Josephine. Donald worked many years at Coldstream Products of Canada and retired as a supervisor after more than 30 years of service. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. Interment to take place in Chapel Lawn Memorial Garden. A celebration of Dons life will be held at 64 Nassau St. on Saturday, November 6 from 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. All friends and family are welcome. The family wish to thank the St.Boniface Hospital 5A West and the Misericordia 6th floor, Cornish Wing, for all of their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dons memory to a charity of choice.
