JOSEPH ARTHUR EDMOND BEAUPRE Peacefully on November 2, 1999 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Edmond Beaupre aged 79 years, of Selkirk, beloved husband of the late Eva. Edmond was born on Christmas day, December 25, 1919 at Rosewood, Man. and spent his childhood days at La Broquerie, Man. He then became a longtime resident of Selkirk, having worked at the Selkirk Mental Hospital, Browns Bread and eventually as a dedicated employee of the Manitoba Rolling Mills for 30 years, retiring in 1981. Edmond was predeceased by his loving wife, Eva on September 1, 1999 and is survived by his loving children and grandchildren; daughter Betty (John), Jamie (Lisa), Julie and Mark; son Glen (Shirley), Jennilee and Nanci; son Brian; his brothers and sisters, Leo (Blanche), Alfonse (Catherine), Odile Ostrowski (Oden), Sr. Marie M.O., Jeanne, Jeannette and Yvonne; brother-in-law Garden West (Florence) and his many nieces and nephews. Dad was a loving, kind and gentle husband, father and grandfather who will always be remembered for his thoughtfulness towards his family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at the St. Clements Cemetery. The family would like to thank the medical staff and volunteers of the St. Boniface and Selkirk General Hospitals. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements. MOM & DAD Together Forever
