MILDRED IRENE (BILLY) DAY (Born Mildred Irene Glenister) On August 16, 1913 Peacefully, on November 1, 1999 at Tuxedo Villa Care Home, Billy Day our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away. Billy was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Hubert Day in 1973, and her first two children, Carol and Robert at ages four years and six months respectively. They will finally be reunited. Her memory will be held and cherished by her children, Ralph Day (Elizabeth), Glen Day (Ruth), Dorothy Thompson (Gordon), Dennis Day (Diane), Bruce Day (Sandra) and James Day (Judy) grandchildren, Robert, Kristine, Darren, Cindy, Gina, Glen Jr., Gordon, Robin, Terry, Randy, Steven, Darlene, Dean, Debbie, Carolyn, Teresa, Angela, Justin, Colin, Sara and great-grand children; Sara, Katie, Cheryl, Thomas, Troy and Taylor, Jasmine, Joel, Jordan, Jonathon, Stepanie, Adam, Nicholas, Derek, Justin, Travis, Daren, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Michaela, Bethany and Tazia, Kiera, Brody, Adria, Salem, Remi. She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by ...... Numerous nieces, nephews, relatives in England and life long friends. The family would like to thank all those who were so kind and thoughtful to mom during her convalescence at Tuxedo Villa Care Home. She was greatly comforted by the love and support she received from the staff at the care home. In the words of the staff, Billy was an easy person to get along with. She laughed easily, never complained and was always kind. In keeping with moms love and care of children all her life, in lieu of flowers donations are gratefully accepted at The Childrens Wish Foundation 350 St. Marys Road, Wpg., MB. R3C 3J2. A memorial service to celebrate Moms life will be held November 4 at 4:00 p.m. at Maranatha Evangelical Free Church, 910 Sturgeon Rd. (832-1371) Officiating: Dr. David Lewycky.
