EDWARD DZWONEK Ed was brave and fought a courageous battle against his illness, but with Heather at his side he passed on peacefully on November 2, 1999 at the Health Sciences Centre. Ed will be lovingly remembered by his wife Heather; son Erik; mother Jadwiga; brothers, Henry (Gerrie) and their children, Tammy and Jarret; Boyd (Bonnie) and their children, Melissa and Christine, parents-in-law, Doug and Linda Grayston and sister-in-law Amanda and countless friends. He was predeceased by his father Mieczylaw (Mike) in 1998. Ed was born and raised in Winnipeg in 1960. His charm and wit made his career in the hospitality industry a natural choice. He was a devoted father, husband, brother and son and will be greatly missed. Special thanks to the Health Sciences Centre, S.I.C.U., M.I.C.U. and the Gold Service Team. Should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation, MS7 - 820 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Man., R3A 1R9. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 5 at Sparling United Church, 1609 Elgin Avenue West, with Harold Ritchie officiating. Interment Brookside Cemetery.
