LOUIS KOSTUIK On Tuesday, November 2, 1999 at the Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon, Louis Kostuik aged 74 years of Malonton, MB. Born January 3, 1925 at Malonton. He had lived in the Malonton District all his life. Predeceased by his parents, John and Joanna Kostuik; sister Emily Paleshnik; brothers, Mike, Rudy and Walter and infant sister Jean. Surviving to mourn his loss are his children, Chris (Gwen) of Fraserwood, Peggy (Alex) Wozlowski of Gimli, Jim (Ruth) of Winnipeg and Nick of Winnipeg; the mother of his children Olga; four grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeffery Wozlowski, Michelle and Joel Kostuik; brothers and sisters, Mary Samos of Penticton, BC, Kathleen Russell of Winnipeg, Joe Kostuik of Malonton, Carrie (Morris) Wozlowski of Prince Rupert, BC, Stanley (Judy) Kostuik of Gimli, Robert (Ruth) Kostuik of Gimli, Jean (Nick) Leskiw of Winnipeg and Helen Turcan of Malonton. There are numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be said on Friday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 6 at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Komarno, MB. Rev. Deacon Peter Chorney will officiate, interment to follow in the St. Marys Cemetery, Malonton, MB. Friends who so desire may make donations to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 100 Olivia St. Winnipeg, MB. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of the arrangements.
