Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOAO MARIA OLIVEIRA Suddenly, on November 2, 1999 at the Health Sciences Centre, Mr. Joao Oliveira passed away. Joao leaves to mourn his wife Liduina; his daughters, Liduina (Virginio) Raulino and Rosa (Laurindo) Vasconcelos; grandchildren, Paulo Fernando, Nelson and Ana Maria. Joao was born on May 13, 1925 in Sao Miquel, Acores, Portugal. He emigrated to Canada on July 13, 1979 and worked for the Health Sciences Centre for 11 years. He retired on June 1, 1990. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre. Prayers will be said on Thursday, November 4 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. with Fr. Jose Medeiros officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
