Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN GLEN ANDERSON It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of John Glen Anderson, on Wednesday, November 3, 1999 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Remaining to forever cherish Glens memory, are his loving wife Michelle; parents Allan and Doreen; brother Brent; grandmother Dorothy Anderson; father and mother-in-law Lorne and Geri Blocker; sisters-in-law Jennifer Blocker and Rhonda Raback; brothers-in-law Jamie Blocker and Paul Peeters; niece Ksenia and nephew Casey, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Glen was born February 9, 1965 in St. Boniface, and was raised in Transcona. He met Michelle in 1993, and they were later married and continued to reside in Transcona. He was employed at Princess Auto and was very active there working on his special projects. He was known for his love of all sports, both participating in and watching in various forms. He had a keen passion for fishing and camping. He especially loved watching the sun rise over Garner Lake with Michelle while out fishing in their boat. He was a very caring and special person who was always ready to lend a hand whenever someone needed it. He was intensely devoted to Michelle, his friends and his family. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Boniface Emergency CCU, and the palliative care wards for their many kindnesses, as well as the Emergency personnel of district four in Transcona. Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 7 between 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel 1800 Day Street. Funeral to follow on Monday, November 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 401 Kildare Avenue West with Pastor Dan Abraham officiating. Interment at the Transcona Cemetery. Gathering of family and friends to follow at the Church basement. Active pallbearers will be Brent Chelle, Darryl Ellis, Paul Morawecki, Al Rainkie, Rick Scully and Blaine Vermette. Honourary pallbearers will be Ken Smith, along with all the rest of his many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Childrens Hospital Burn Unit. Love is simple, love is free Love is beautiful between you and me. The love we share, the love weve found Couldnt be if you werent around. From deep within me you discovered Love hidden in my heart which you uncovered. A feeling we all have no doubt Love only a special person can bring about This person is you I know And the love between us Ill never let go.
