Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) H. COLLICUTT On Wednesday, November 3, after a lengthy illness, Bill passed away at Grace General Hospital. He was 76 years of age. Born in Winnipeg and raised in West Kildonan, he lived in the citys west end for the last 42 years. He was a member of St.Annes Anglican and Chalmers United Churches. Bill was predeceased by his mother and father, daughter Lori (1971), brother George, and faithful friend Charlie. He leaves his loving wife Betty, daughter Janet Storey (Ken) and granddaughters Jennifer and Kate, son Bill and granddaughter Colleen, son Doug (Valorie) and grandsons Adam and Daniel, daughter Caroline Johnson (Dave) and grandsons Michael and James, sister Elsie Jackson (Andrew), as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, on the West Coast and in the U.S.A. Bill was a member of #1 Royal Canadian Legion, Air Force Association of Canada (at large) and the Ophthalmic Dispensers of Manitoba. During the second world war he served in the RCAF for four years (1941-45). Bill spent his career (46 years) in the Optical field with Imperial Optical - Ramsay Matthews and later with D. Mulhall and Associates. Family vacations at Star Lake have left us all with treasured memories. A memorial service will he held on Tuesday, November 9 at 3:00 p.m at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Many thanks to the caring staff at the Grace Hospital, Home Care and the VON, Drs. Barnes, Ritchie and Harris. Thanks also to the Department of Veteran Affairs. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to a charity of your choice.
