MARGUERITE DECAIGNY May 29, 1914 - November 4, 1999 It is in deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marguerite DeCaigny, on November 4, 1999 at St. Boniface Hospital. Mom was born on May 29, 1914 and resided her entire life in St. Boniface. She was predeceased by her husband, Jules in 1980 shortly after retiring from their resort business in the Whiteshell where they had many good friends and memorable times. She was a life member of the Belgian Club where she took active part in the Executive Seniors Club and the Veterans Legion. She had an outstanding sense of humour and loved to joke, laugh and sing. She will be forever cherished by her children, Al DeCaigny (Barb), Florence Coss (Emile), Alida (Ken) Grouette; her very close friends, Yvon Fortier; nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; along with her aunt Eva Van Tournhout. As was her wish, cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on November 8 at Holy Cross Church, 252 Dubuc Street, Father James Gray officiating.
