ELIZABETH DOERKSEN On November 4, 1999 at Meadowood Manor Elizabeth Doerksen beloved wife of 64 years of Peter P. Doerksen, died at the age of 83 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Linda (Cornie) Kornelson, Elaine Doerksen, all of Winnipeg; three sons, Elmer of Herbert, SK, Harvey of Winnipeg, Bob (Dorothy) of Blumenort; thirteen grandchildren, Darrell, Brian and Glen Kornelson; Kelly (Liana), Candy, Robert, Wayne, Sabrina, DArcy; Michael, Steven, Mark, Kevin; five great-grandchildren, Dylan, Vanessa, Cheyenne, Joshua and Laura. Also four sisters, two brothers and their families. In her own quiet way, she was very strong, caring and devoted wife, mother grandmother and friend. She enjoyed sewing, reading and music. We miss you and will always love you. Special thanks to the staff of Meadowood Manor and Concordia Hospital for their special care. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Gospel Church, 755 St. Annes Road. Interment to follow in Mennonite Memorial Gardens. Viewing at the church prior to the service. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Baptist Care Society, 102-575 St. Annes Rd., R2M 5B2, for the Meadowood Manor Chaplaincy Fund.
