GUNTER HENNING Gunter passed away on Monday, October 25, 1999 in the Peace Arch Hospital of White Rock. Born in Dulsburg, Germany, August 28, 1929. Gunter was a driving force in the Canadian Film Industry. He spearheaded the development of some of the finest production facilities in North America. On retirement he returned to an interest in flying and with IFR qualifications flew the extent of the Americas. An enthusiasm for different peoples culture and history inspired him in his travels and the friendships he made. Gunter will be sadly missed by his loving wife and co-explorer Frances; their four children and their spouses, Margo and Keith, Ryan and Debbie, Gary and Ellen and Mark and Isabelle and four grandchildren, Athenalse, Zofla, Dylon and Tess. There will be no service at Gunters request. A private reception was held Saturday, October 30 at the family home in White Rock.
