WILFRED MILLER ROSE Passed away peacefully on November 3, 1999 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital. Wilfred was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 28, 1909. Predeceased by his first wife Laura Pearl. Lovingly remembered by his family, wife Maud; children, Betty (Jack), Donald (Sherril), Warren (Mona), and Gerald (Una) sister Dorma Robertson; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Wilfred and Maud were members of St. Aidans United Church in Victoria. Wilfred had a distinguished career in the R.C.A.F. and retired after 25 years of service as a Warrant Officer 1st Class in 1965. He was a Masonic Member, Dominion Lodge 848, Baden, Germany. Wilfreds passions were golf, curling and most importantly his family and friends. Interment of Wilfreds cremated remains will be held at Hatley Memorial Gardens, 2050 Sooke Road, Victoria, BC on Saturday, November 6 at 10:00 a.m. Following the service, family and friends are invited to the Sands Arbor Reception Centre, 317 Goldstream Ave., Colwood, BC for refreshments. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, memorial remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to the B.C. Heart and Stroke Foundation. SANDS of COLWOOD "A Tradition of Trust" 478-3821
