FLORE LAFANTAISIE It is with great sadness, that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on November 5, 1999, at the Foyer Valade at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband Emilien (Salim) in 1979; three infant daughters, one grandson, three granddaughters, one son-in-law, four brothers and two sisters. She leaves to remember her abiding faith and love, Therese (Jean) Trudel of St. Malo, Jeanne (Eugene) Patenaude of St. Vital, Clair Normand of St. Vital, Germaine (Honore) of St. Vital, Aline (Louis) Dumas of St. Boniface, Denis (Pauline) of St. Vital, Denise (Eddy) Labossiere of La Rochelle, Jean (Linda) of Transcona, Gerard (Carmelle) of La Rochelle, Rolande (Oarval) Kiesman of St. Vital, France Sicotte of St. Boniface, and Marie (Roland) Tetrault of St. Boniface; 43 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. Also by two sisters Alice and Therese, and five brothers Ulysse, Joseph, Jean, Gerard and Rosaire. Flore devoted her life to her husband and her family in which she took great pride. She always put her familys needs ahead of hers. Mom will be remembered for her untiring spirit, courage, kindness, and generosity. She loved to read and sew her patchwork quilts. Her family remembers the love and care that went into the preserves which she canned and shared with her loved ones. Mom prayed for all of us and for all the children of the universe. Prayer service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Foyer Valade for their compassionate care given to their Mom during the last four years. They also wish to thank the doctors and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for their care given to Mom during her stay. "We love you, Mom. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 775-2220.
