EVELYN EDYTH SEIBEL Peacefully on November 5, 1999 our beloved Mom and Grandma, Evelyn Edyth Seibel passed away at Riverview Health Centre. Mom was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Seibel in 1990, daughter Lenore Sawatzky and grandson Kirk Sawatzky in 1979, her parents Earl and Bernice Brownsberger, and her brother and sister-in-law Irwin and Pat Brownsberger. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Louise Dyck, husband Cliff and their son Kyle, son Karl Seibel, wife Sherry and their children Riley and Lindsay, and her daughter Lorraine Knoll and her husband Gordon and their children Jessica and Payton. Mom was born on August 4, 1924 in the midst of harvest near Carberry, Man., and grew up in Winnipeg. She married Dad on August 13, 1949. Mom was a loving and caring wife and mother. She was always there for her family and friends with a positive attitude, a heart warming smile, an abundance of energy and creativity. Mom loved to keep busy. In winter you could find her at the Heather Curling Club and in Spring and Summer at the lake tending to her flowers and enjoying her swims. She will be sadly missed by many friends, relatives and all the people whos lives she touched with her love of life. Her family would like to thank everyone for their support and visits to Mom during her illness. A special thanks to her V.O.N.s, doctor Scott Young and the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held at the Brantwood Estates, 683 St. Annes Road in the recreation room, Tuesday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Moms memory to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 100 Olivia Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 9Z9.
