Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySIDNEY EDWIN HOLLOWAY Passed away November 6, 1999 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC. Sidney was born June 24, 1907, in Winnipeg, MB. He was the fourth of six children. Sidney has left behind his loving, devoted wife, Wynifred (nee Chambers) of 63 years and many nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime member of the Sir Hugh John MacDonald Hostel for Boys in Winnipeg. He was an active member for over 30 years at St. Marks Anglican Church in Winnipeg (St. Vital). Sidney was involved with the Winnipeg Male Voice Choir. He worked for the Manitoba Crop Ins. as an accountant. He enjoyed painting, woodworking, cooking, music, singing, making pottery and inventing things. Upon his retirement in 1972, they moved to Victoria where his love of gardening was fulfilled. A memorial service will be held at St. Lukes Church, 3821 Cedar Hill X Road on November 13 at 2:30 p.m. Inurnment to follow.
