H. BRAD SIXSMITH H. Brad Sixsmith the only child of M. and B. Sixsmith. Born in Flin Flon, Manitoba, July 31, 1939. Graduated from Athol Murray College Notre Dame. Graduated at the University of Saskatchewan in Engineering in 1958. Journeyman electrician in Manitoba and Ontario. Volunteered to the Royal Canadian Navy Reserve from 1961-1964. Joined the R.C.M.P. in 1965. In 1967 took training DeVry Technical Institute in the fundamental technology. Worked in Security and Intelligence, graduated in Electronics Technology and Professional Audio from Algonquin college in December 1970. IN 1971 he acquired a Private Pilots License. Transferred to "D" division Toronto 1972. Became a Corporal in the R.C.M.P. in 1973. He came to Moosehorn, Man., and purchased Moosehorn Supply in 1974. During which time he worked his expertise in S and I, electrical commercial and domestic (Certified 1974), Refrigeration Domestic and Commercial (Certified 1978). Acquired Manitoba Degree Environmental course in CIC/HCFC/HFC control in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. He was a member of the legion in Ashern, Man. In his day he was a avid Fisherman, Golfer, Hockey Player, Archer, Curler and accomplished swimmer. Brad was predeceased by his parents and he leaves to mourn his loving wife Marjorie, and his caring children Shawn, William and Colleen. An Irish wake will be held on Friday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m., at the Sixsmith residence, Moosehorn, Man. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Anderson Family Funeral Home, Ashern, Man. with Jim Anderson officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
