Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH ARMAND CARRIERE March 27, 1931 - November 5, 1999 With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of our father Joseph Armand Carriere, on November 5, 1999 at his residence in Warren, Manitoba. He is survived by three children, Cindy, Darryl and Michelle; his three brothers, David (Miriam), Cyril (Jessie) and Roland (Hilda) and brother-in-law George. He will also be remembered by nieces, nephews, their partners, as well as close friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father and his sister Irene. Dad was born in Langruth, Manitoba in March of 1931. He held many jobs in his early days, including work for both the C.N.R. and C.P.R., a variety of jobs related to clerical work, and then for many years with Bristol Aerospace. He was a tinkerer, and loved to take things apart and put them back together for the simple love of understanding how things worked. He had a number of interests including cars, antiques, attending auction sales, and getting on the open road to travel, often over long distances. His drop-in visits were unexpected and always welcome. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Friday, November 12 at 11:00 a.m. Voyage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Honorary pallbearers include Cyril Carriere, David Carriere, Lisa Carriere, Ian Blackmore, Garth Reid and Hensil Arksey. If you wish, a donation may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association.
