Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMA KATHLEEN MAGNUSSON (nee McLEOD) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norma, wife of Carl, mother to Bonnie (Al) Carrette, Garland and Rorie (Leanne). Grandmother to Andy, Stasha, Marion, Juanita and Alicia. Norma fought a courageous battle with cancer and died on Saturday, November 6, 1999 at Health Sciences Centre. She was born December 21, at Eriksdale in 1946, to Norman (deceased) and Adrienne McLeod. Norma had many family, friends and acquaintances who will remember her for her hard work and especially her baking skills. Most recently until she got too sick to work, Norma worked at Lundar School and also ran the school canteen. She loved her interaction with the teachers and especially the students. She appreciated their gifts and friendship. Norma loved all children especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephewS. She was looking forward to her new grandchild in December and will be watching the birth from heaven. Norma was predeceased by her father Norman; her in-laws, Ed and Helga Magnusson; brothers-in-law Steini Vigfusson, Ole Leirdahl, Russ Hanslip and Tom Magnusson. She leaves to mourn mother, Adrienne McLeod; brothers and sisters, Willy (Janet), Louis (Brenda), Annette (John), Richard (Pat), Doug, Denise (Wayne), Larry (Corinne) and Robin. Her sisters and brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. At Normas request there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Normas life will be held at Lundar Legion Hall on November 13 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at a later date. The family wishes to thank Dr. Brandis and staff of GH4, all the visitors for their hep and support especially Sharon and Family and Bert and Bonnie. Please hold her in your arms and treasure her with care, Make up for all she suffered and all she had to bear Please whisper in her ear in case she didnt hear How much we truly Love her and wish she was still here. No flowers please. Donations to Lundar Lutheran Church or a charity of one choice.
