DAVID RAYMOND KEACHIE Dave passed away peacefully on November 8, 1999 at Selkirk. He was born on January 9, 1930 and lived most of his life in East Kildonan. He was predeceased by his father Raymond in 1970 and his mother Catherine in 1972. Dave is survived by his brother Donald; sister-in-law Joan; nephew Daniel and niece Ruth (Bill). Dave loved boxing and was very proud of his boxing career. He was happy when he travelled the boxing circuit. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 12 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Rev. Neil de Haan officiating. Interment will follow at the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff of E15 Infirmary, Selkirk Mental Hospital for the wonderful care they gave Dave. Thanks also to Rev. de Haan for the friendship he showed Dave through the years and also Rev. Mary Holmen. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Manitoba Division, 836 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 1Y4.
