Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE BUGERA (HRYNCHUK) 1916 - 1999 Peacefully surrounded by family and friends, our beloved mother and grandmother, Annie Bugera, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 1999 at the Sioux Lookout District Health Centre. Annie was born in Vita, MB on March 18, 1916 and married John Bugera in 1936. Together they moved to Sioux Lookout, ON in 1937, where they resided and raised their family ever since. Annie enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, mothering, giving her opinion, Ukrainian traditions, and her family. She devoted herself to her family, putting the needs of her children and grandchildren (to whom she is known to as Babi) in front of her own. She did the most with what she had, to make sure everybody was well taken care of. Annie is survived by her three sons, Steve, Mike and Bill; her daughter Helen Nenka; her son-in-law Mike Nenka; her two grandchildren, John and Kevin, all of Sioux Lookout; her brother William Hrynchuk of Kamloops, BC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John Bugera on November 11, 1959; her father Jack Hrynchuk in 1947; her mother Sophie Hrynchuk in 1980; her brothers, Steve Hrynchuk in 1916 and Mike Hrynchuk in 1978; her sister Mary Bugera in 1992; and her nephew Jack in 1957. Visitation was held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, November 11 at the Sioux Lookout Funeral Home with prayers starting at 8:00 p.m., with Fr. Randal Morrisseau officiating. Funeral service took place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday morning, November 12, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sioux Lookout. Interment followed the service at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Following her brief battle with cancer, donations in Annies memory may be made to the Northern Research Cancer Foundation in care of Sioux Lookout Funeral Home, Box 1449, Sioux Lookout, ON P8T 1B9. A heart of gold stopped beating, Hard working hands went to rest, God took you home to prove to us, He only takes the very best. Heartaches in this world are many, But losing you was worse than any. It will be lonely here without you, We will miss you more each day. For life will not be the same for us, Since youve been called away. We will forever remember the way you looked, The way you laughed and smiled, All the things you did for us, Will be with us all the while. You always did your best, Your heart was true and tender, You lived your life for those you loved, And those you loved will always remember. We love you Mom and Babi!
