LESLIE EDWARD TED HESELWOOD Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 10, 1999 at the age of 72. Born in Winnipeg on November 2, 1927 he is lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Arlene (Vel) his children, daughter Bev (friend Archie) son Paul (Donna) and his beloved granddaughters, Meghan, Kendra and Tanys; his foster granddaughters, Demi and Ashley; one brother Blair (Doris) of Winnipeg; in-laws, Bob (Heather) Mackie and family of Winnipeg, Marita Kondrat and family of Ontario, Eunice and Helen Mackie of U.S.A. and Grace Heselwood and family of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Ada and by one brother Bert. Ted was a member of the Wa Wa Shrine Temple in Saskatoon, the 33rd degree Scottish Rite in Saskatoon, King George Lodge in Calgary, Alta. and the Elstow Lodge in Saskatoon. Ted was employed for 44 years in the grain business. He retired in 1989 from Robin Hood Multifoods after 35 years service in Winnipeg, Calgary and Saskatoon. An avid sports person, Ted enjoyed all aspects of the game. Growing up in Winnipeg, Ted was active as a player in hockey, baseball and lacrosse. His love of sports continued as he enjoyed coaching and then being a spectator. His granddaughters were his pride and joy and he found great pleasure in being able to watch them play basketball and volleyball. The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 16 at 1:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Al Hingley at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Donations in Teds memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, the Canadian Diabetic Association or to the Salvation Army. Arrangements have been entrusted to David J.
