Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUTH LEHMANN (SLUSKY) On Monday, October 25, 1999, we lost Ruth Lehmann. She was the best wife, best mother, and best grandma, who, to her grandchildren was known as Gabby. She always had a smile and good word for everybody. Ruth was an avid tennis player and voracious reader. She also enjoyed the theater, eating out, shopping and travelling. She died too young of cancer. We will love her, miss her, and hold her in our hearts forever. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Irv; son Allan (Sheryl) daughter Ilene (Perry) Pollet; and grandchildren, Maxwell, Alexi, Eli, Aviva, Zachary and Joshua; and her mother Molly. Also surviving are her sisters, Marcia (Martyn) Adelberg, Hinda (David) Gruber; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 28 at Congregation Shaary Zedek, 1924 Coolidge Rd., East Lansing, with Rabbi David A. Lyon and Rabbi Morton Hoffman officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
