MARY (POROZNICK) STERNAT Peacefully in the presence of her loving family, Mary Sternat passed away on November 11, 1999 at the age of 85 years. Mom was predeceased by her husband Joseph; sister Jean and brother John. Left to cherish her memory are son Frank (Joan) of Los Angeles; daughters, Alice Picken of Seattle, Susan (Dennis) Penner of Stony Mountain and Verna (Gary) Merredew of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Trudy (JR), Gyle, Gayle (David), Jill (Brandon), Jennifer, Amber, Tara, Darren, Stuart, David and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Jay, Kyle, Nikki, Tyler, Tiffany, Joy Anne, Jesse and Aaron and one sister Anne Kowalyk of Winnipeg. Mom was born in Rossdale, Manitoba and spent her life there until moving into Winnipeg in 1965. Mom devoted her entire life to her family. She will be missed by her family and friends. Prayers will be held on Sunday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews St. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Trudy, Tara, Gyle, Daniel, Darren and Stuart.
