GORDON STEWART Peacefully with his family at his side, Gordon Stewart passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 1999 at the age of 57. He will lovingly be missed by his wife Linda and family, Val (Brad) Neirinck, Kristen, Melissa and Timothy and Cheryl Stewart, Joey, Ricky, Randy and Adena; sisters, Barbara (Wilf) Clarke and Linda (Craig) Robinson; brother Bruce (Bev) Stewart and mother-in-law Mrs. Victorine Beaudin. Many other brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends will miss him greatly. Gordon was predeceased by his mom and dad, Mildred and Douglas Stewart and his sister Joan. The most important thing in Dads life was his family. Taking care of us and loving us was most important! He was devoted to his wife Linda, and would drop everything to help out his daughters Val and Cheryl. His son-in-law Brad became an important part of his life. One of his passions in life were his grandchildren Joey, Ricky, Randy, Adena, Kristen, Melissa and Timothy, meant everything to him. Dad loved gardening and tended it with great care. He loved the beach and we have many cherished memories of being there with him. He worked for Canadian National Railway for 34 years until he retired in 1995. He loved walking at least 5 - 8 miles per day and worked out at the CN fitness centre three times a week. He always took the time out to enjoy life, watching and/or listening to a hockey or football game. Dad took the time to hear the crickets in the springtime and to enjoy Gods work. He was a stronger Christian man than anyone we knew. His faith led him in life. He had a personal relationship with Jesus and lived his life this way. We love you Gord, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. We will feel your spirit with us always. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 15 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Cremation will follow. The service will terminate at the chapels.
