DEAN STOPPLER Passed away peacefully on November 9 at home in Brampton, ON after a lengthy battle with leukemia at the age of 47. Dean began his career with Beneficial Canada in 1971 starting in Regina, SK, most recently working and residing in the Brampton area. His career took him to several different locations across Canada, however he always considered Winnipeg his home. Dean is predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Blake and Noella Moreau. Dean is survived by his loving wife Lucy, children Tracey, Jaime, Cathy and Gordon, grandson Cole, mother Pat, brothers Terry (Brenda), Darren (Sandra), sisters Sherri (Nick) Bitz, Laurie (Bert) Wolf, brothers-in-law Paul (Louise) Moreau, Blake (Joyce) Moreau, Bill (Lorraine) Moreau, sisters-in-law Jean Ann (Paul) Ferguson, Connie (Garth) Whitlock and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Deans life will be held at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 425 Rosseau St. E., Transcona, at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 15, 1999. Pallbearers will be his brothers Terry and Darren, brothers-in-law Nick and Bert and friends Bob Freed and Cam Ftoma. A memorial service will be held at the Ward Funeral Homes in Brampton, ON on Friday, November 12, 1999. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local branch of the Canadian Cancer Society.
