THERESE VEDEL Therese Marie Claire Vedel, formerly of St. Boniface, Manitoba, passed away at the Cedars Villa Nursing Home in Calgary on November 11, 1999. Therese was born in St. Norbert, Manitoba on April 28, 1919. She is the loving mother of two daughters, Denise (Colin) Schultz of Stoney Plain, Alberta, and Jacqueline Eliasson of Calgary; the loving grandmother to Christine, Katherine, Carrie and Tracey; and the loving great-grandmother to Sarah. She is also survived by her sisters, Marielle (Alphonse) Paquin of Lethbridge, Madeleine (Hugh) McMeel of Winnipeg; and her brother Joseph (Mary) Moreau of Victoria, B.C. Therese was predeceased by her husband Peter on August 17, 1963 and brother Andre Moreau. Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral with Msgr. Albert Frechette presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Calgary, 1920 - 11th Street S.E., Calgary, Alberta, T2G 3G2.
