Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMANUEL DAVID WAISMAN Manuel David Waisman passed away at the Brentwood Care Centre on November 10, 1999 at the age of 91 years. Manuel was born December 3, 1907 in Argentina and came to Canada in 1913. He graduated in matriculation from St. Johns Technical High School in 1925. He attended the University of Manitoba in Arts and Science for two years. He graduated from Law School in 1931, Cum Laude. Manuel was associated with the late Mr. J. W. Wilton for two years and he was also associated with the late Mr. B. H. Pascoe in the general practice of law until 1935. He was self employed in the law until February of 1943 at which time he joined the R.C.A.F. and served until April of 1946. Upon his discharge from the R.C.A.F., he was again self employed in the general practice of law until December of 1956, when he joined the law firm of Walsh, Micay and Company. In May of 1967 he joined the Attorney General Department, Land Titles Division at Brandon. He was then transferred in September of 1972 to Neepawa where he remained until his retirement in 1974, then practiced in Thompson and then at the Pas. Manuel finally moved to Calgary in 1992 to be with his family. He is survived by his son Dr. David Morton Waisman and his wife Mary Sue; his two grandchildren, Meredith and Phillip. Manuel was predeceased by his wife and companion of 45 years, Viola, in 1998. He was a kind person with a great sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends of Neepawa and Winnipeg. At Manuels request there will be no service.
