Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAISY JESSIE WALKER Peacefully on November 11, 1999 at the Bethania Personal Care Home, Daisy Walker passed away within one month of her 101st birthday. Mother was born on December 6, 1898 in London, England. She came to Canada in July of 1913 and worked at Eatons until her marriage to Oliver Walker in 1925. Her career was home and family. She was a fair minded person, always ready to listen and lend a helping hand. Gardening, knitting, crocheting, and reading were her hobbies. She is survived by her daughter Shirley; nieces and nephews, Gladys Dight, Wayne (Kitty) Piper of Winnipeg, Phyllis Fox, Pat (Jake) Dyck, Marilyn Piper of B.C., Isabel (Lorne) Ritenburg, Sydney (Helen) Walker of Sask., Olive Smith of Ont., and in the U.S.A.; Joyce Nelson, Kitty Sterling, Edna Bergseth, Peggy (Roy) Compton, Tom (Bea) Walker as well as many great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the Bethania Personal Care Home Chapel, 1045 Concordia Ave. with interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Viewing on Monday 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. If friends desire, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. A special thanks to the administration and staff of Bethania for their kindness and thoughtfulness shown to Daisy. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
