Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN WILLIAM COPP On Saturday, November 13, 1999 at the Riverview Health Centre after a long and valiant battle, John now rests at the age of 58 years. John, known by many names such as Johnny, son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, friend and acquaintance; he was an avid golfer, who began and loved the sport as a youngster. He entered and won numerous tournaments and trophies over the years and continued to play even when his health began to deteriorate. He was a contractor for over 25 years and earned a tremendous amount of respect through his abilities. John was a member of the ANAF 283 for also over 25 years. Remaining to forever cherish Johns memory are his mother, Kathleen Copp; two children, Gary (Marina) and Cheryl Leitold (Doug) grandchildren, Steven, Mathew and Melanie; brothers and sisters, Fred, Evelyn Blair, Gladys Brown (Dennis), Janet Wilson, Eleanor Power (Brian), Norine Crouch (Gary), Rick and Robert; also Joanna McKenzie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. All who knew him were blessed. On Tuesday, November 16 at 11:00 a.m., Johns funeral service will be held in the Army Navy & Air Force Veterans in Canada, Assiniboia Unit No. 283 - 3584 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, Man. We, the family, would like to express a very special and sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on 3E at the Riverview Health Centre for their excellent care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Johns memory to the Canadian Cancer Society (Manitoba Division), 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7. The depths of sorrow we cannot tell, Of the loss of the one we loved so well; And while he sleeps a peaceful sleep, His memory we shall always keep.
