JOHN A. MITCHELL (JACK) Peacefully on November 12, 1999 at the Grace Hospital, John Mitchell passed away at age 79. John was predeceased by his loving wife Irene Mitchell in 1995; and his brother Robert. He was a loving father to Elizabeth Mitchell and Hilary Mitchell-Watt and his son-in-law Norm Watt. Also surviving are his nieces, nephews and sister-in-law Alvina Manweiler. The family is so grateful for all the friends and family who helped and supported Jack and Irene over the years. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 16 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
