GLEN W. THOMPSON Peacefully on November 13, 1999 at the Victoria Hospital, Glen W. Thompson passed away at 85 years of age. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and William Thompson. Glen leaves to mourn his loving wife Mary. Glen is survived by several sisters and brothers-in-laws and their families, Eileen (Gil), Allan (Elsie), Wilbert (June), Orla (Henry), Laura, William, Keith (Jean) all of whom he was very fond of. Glen was last employed at Atomic Energy of Canada, in Pinawa. He took a great interest in the Western Canada Aviation Museum and the new Winnipeg Fire Fighters Museum. He will be sadly missed by friends and relatives, with whom he spent and enjoyed many good times. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 16 at 12:30 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A gathering of friends and family will follow at the Chapel Lawn Reception Center. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
