ROBERT GERARD RUTLEDGE It is with intense sadness that family members announce the sudden death of their husband, father, son, brother and uncle, Robert, on November 12, 1999, at the age of 44 years. Rob was born on March 30, 1955 in Winnipeg. He was well known and respected at New Flyer Industries, where he had worked for the past 18 years. Rob was a real family man and his life revolved around his children, camping and fishing. He was predeceased by his father Robert in 1974 and his younger brother Stephen in 1997. Left to mourn his untimely death are his wife Donna; children, Hayley and David; his mom Therese; sisters, Kimberley (Dave) Jenken, Donna (Ken) Jones, Darlene (Alex) Smith, Lisa (Roland) Roy, in-laws, Dorcas and Cecil Bateman and Tim and Jan Bateman; nieces and nephews, Rachel, Kyle, Lorne, Patrick, Jeffrey, Kevin and Sara, and his faithful little dog Maggie. Viewing will take place on Wednesday, November 17 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, also at Desjardins Funeral Chapel. Service will terminate in the chapel. A reception will follow, downstairs, in the Reception Centre. Donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
