SARAH LEMKY (nee REIMER) Peacefully on Sunday, November 14 at Concordia Hospital, with her beloved "Johnny" at her side, Sarah Lemky went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, whom she loved with all her heart and served for over 58 years. Sarah was a devoted, loving and faithful wife who was truly a "Proverbs 31" woman. Sarah was born on April 15, 1924 in Steinbach, MB and married the love of her life in Winnipeg on July 8, 1944. Sarahs graciousness and kindness touched everyone with whom she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 56 years. Sarah is also survived and be missed by her brothers, Henry and Alvin Reimer; sisters Margaret, Betty, Adina and Mary, as well as Johns family; sisters-in-law, Florence, Helen, Anne and Grace. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. A Service celebrating her homegoing will be held on Wednesday, November 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Charleswood Gospel Temple, Perimeter Highway, South of Roblin Blvd., Pastor Jim Naber will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sarahs memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 9Z9, or Voice of God Recordings Inc. John would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Concordia Hospital and Dr. Karen Lage for the loving care and compassion showed to both Sarah and him.
