MARGUERITE CHOISELAT (nee MAHE) It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Marguerite Choiselat on Saturday, November 13, 1999. She died peacefully at 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon at St. Boniface Hospital with family present. Marguerite will be missed by many. Among the grieving are her husband Marcel; daughters, Janet Sandulak (Carl), Monique Choiselat-Wojcik (Mike) and Helen Thomas (Don), sons, Claude Choiselat (Connie) and Alain Choiselat (Lynda) grandchildren, Elaine, Cindy, Chris, Mark, Tammy, Shaun, Sonia, Dean, Curtis, Jason, Danielle, Micheal, Alex, Chris, Dustin and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Adam, Connor, Hannah, Joshua, Owen, Marcus, Nathaniel, Seth, Sabrina, Simon, Kass, Jordan, Kristen, Erin and Tyler. She is survived by her sisters, Clotilde Fontaine and Madeleine Blain and brother Jean Mahe. She is predeceased by her eldest daughter Armelle Dunn; granddaughter Deanna Thomas; sisters, Therese Laplume and Marie Gratton, brothers, Antoine, Frank, Augustin and Joe Mahe and her parents, Francois and Isabel Mahe. Our mother was born in Wauchope, Sask. on May 23, 1914. She married Marcel in 1938 at the age of 24 and raised a family of six. In her mid 40s, she started a career as a licensed practical nurse. She worked hard at her profession until her retirement at age 65. In the course of her 85 and one half years she met with her share of adversity and also great joy. She raised six children to maturity who then provided her with a multitude of grand and great-grandchildren who were to her a course of pleasure and pride. Thankfully hers was a full and satisfying life. Guitte, Mom, Grandma, we love you and we miss you. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Foyer Valade for the excellent care they provided for our mother. Special thanks to Mimi Kehler, Rachelle Lemoine and Carmelle Labelle. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, November 17 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 18 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Marys Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave. with Fr. Manuel Mandez officiating. Service will conclude in the Cathedral with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marguerites memory to the League for Life of Manitoba, 579 Des Meurons St., Winnipeg R2H 2N6. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements; 586-8044.
