Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOUGLAS WILLIAM (BUDDY) LECOY August 11, 1931 - November 14, 1999 Suddenly at his home in Great Falls, MB, at the age of 68 years, Douglas passed away. He was predeceased by his parents, Xavier and Melanie; sisters, Rebecca, Agnes, Dorothy and Isabel; and by his daughter Linda Lou. He leaves to mourn his wife Karen of 32 years; children, Hank, Marcia, Martin, Beverly, Michael, Leon, Wayne and Frank; as well as grandchildren, Norman, Matthew, Jessica and Lara; as well as his brothers, John of Winnipeg and Lawrence of Great Falls; and a sister Josephine of Vancouver; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Douglas was a multi-talented man: he loved to play his violin and guitar and played a lot of socials and weddings and house parties. He liked to make people dance and sing. Buddy liked to hunt and fish with his boys and just spending time with his grandchildren; it gave him great joy. Buddy worked in the mining industry for many years as a Crusher Operator and was known to a great number of people and will be missed by all. He was generous and sincere. When someone needed a hand he was there. He will always be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family. We love you Dad. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, November 18 at 2:00 p.m., also from St. Alexander RC Church, with Fr. F. Paradis officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
