ISABEL K. ORVIS It is with great sorrow that we announce the departure of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Isabel K. Orvis on November 14, 1999 at the age of 72. Mom was predeceased by her brother Peter in 1986. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her son Bryan (Phyllis) by her daughters Helene (George) and Carla (Russell) grandchildren, Darrell, Stephanie, Janine and Joseph and great grandchildren, Destiny, Jonathon, Katie and Branden; her sisters, Elsie, Irene, Kay, Alma and brother Gordon along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was loving and caring and her family was so important to her. Mom would never hesitate to go that extra mile for her kids. Mom enjoyed volunteering at Winnipeg Harvest, and at the canteen in the Freight House. She enjoyed her bingo nights, but most of all she loved her football and hockey. Mom had a great sense of humor and would laugh about anything and everything. She would also look for the humor in any situation just to make you laugh. Prayers will take place at Voyage Funeral Home on November 18 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Voyage Funeral Home on November 19 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at St. Margarets Cemetery in Traverse Bay.
