Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryD. JEAN ARMSTRONG Peacefully on Monday, November 15, 1999 Jean Armstrong passed away at the Grace General Hospital. Jean was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1995. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Brian James (Joan) grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Christopher and Breanna; daughter Lynn Jean Popham (Bruce) grandchildren, Cameron and Colin; sister-in-law Betty Ireland of B.C.; and her British family Michael and Jean Adams. Jean was born in Winnipeg in 1923 and resided in the St.James area. Jean started working for the YMCA, where she met her husband Bill. After her marriage Jean was involved with the 57th Cubs and Scouts. She volunteered at the Museum of Man and Nature and enjoyed her Tuesday afternoon bowling league. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and neighbours. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m Thursday, November 18, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to a charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
