WILLIAM LOGAN After a lengthy illness, William Logan, aged 78 years, passed away on November 13, 1999 at the Grace Hospital. Born in Strenrrar, Scotland on Sept.20, 1921. Predeceased by his mother and father as well as his brother and sister. William will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Aileen, as well as sons; Craig (Donna), Darryl (Helen), Grant (Jo-Ann) and Cameron (Glenda). He also leaves eight grandchildren and brother David and sister Darlene Corbett (Bruce) as well as many nieces and nephews. A war veteran from 1939 to 1942. William was employed at the Union Center for 22 years as a bartender. A quiet family man, he will be missed by all those who knew him. A service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. on Thursday, November 18, at 12:30 p.m. A reception will follow in Chapel Lawn Reception Center. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Imperial Veterans Association, 280 St.Mary Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 0M6. The family would like to thank the nurses and River East Personal Care Home and the Grace Hospital for the care and compassion shown to William.
