Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryONILDA (HILDA) REHN (nee FISET) With sadness we announce the death of Hilda Rehn in her 91st year on Sunday, November 14, 1999 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Hilda is survived by her son Jack Rehn of Winnipeg; his children, John Rehn of Milton, ON, Beverley Scott of Windsor, ON; sisters, Pat LaRay of Oakland, CA and Reggie Patry of Winnipeg; as well as many nieces, nephews and their children. She was predeceased by her father Joseph Fiset (1961) her mother Marie Robert (1968) and all four of her brothers, Eddie, Alph, Dave and Joe Fiset. Hildas husband, Frederick Erwin Rehn (a Dutch war hero), was killed during the Second World War on the SS Kota Inta of Holland. For several years before the war Hilda worked in Montreal, then returned to Winnipeg and became a businesswoman. She first started a restaurant, then a grocery store and finally was involved with a car dealership until her retirement. Special thanks to her niece, Mrs. Jeanne Small, for her assistance over the last several years which helped Hilda keep her independence, as well as to her home care givers, Elinda and Emelenda whom she greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, contributions honouring Hildas memory can be made to a charity of ones choice. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
