JOYCE KIZIAK With heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother and Baba, Joyce Kiziak at Riverview Health Centre on November 16, 1999 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Walter on November 17, 1991. Left to cherish her beautiful memory are her three daughters, Sharon and Wayne Debiuk, their children, Chris and Kerri, Carol and Ed Tworek, their children, Matthew, Jared and Hailey, Valerie and Glenn Wowryk, their children, Chloe and Clare. Joyce was born on October 7, 1928 in Landerville, MB. There she met the love of her life Walter, whom she married in 1945. They later settled in Winnipeg to raise their family. Mom enjoyed gardening, flowers and Ukrainian traditions especially making perogys and holubshi. Her greatest joy in life were her precious grandchildren. She did the most with what she had to make sure everyone was well taken care of. Babas love of her family and her friends helped her fight hard to the very end. Her great sense of humour and giving heart will always be remembered. Our family is grateful for the care Mom received at Riverview Health Centre C3 and 3 East and extend many thanks to the staff for their support. We also thank friends and family who visited Mom or sent cards and letters during her illness, especially Auntie Bernice, Bev and Doris. Thank you to Auntie Polly for making so many of Moms days a little brighter. A Celebration of Moms life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Friday, November 19 at 2:00 p.m. Chaplain Eva Harder officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations can be made to the Cancer Treatment and Research-Hope Breast Cancer Research Centre, 691 Wolseley Ave., Winnipeg R3G 1C3. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
