Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULINE NICKOLIEVICH (nee Hryciw) Peacefully on November 15, 1999, Pauline passed away at Concordia Hospital at the age of 81. Pauline leaves to mourn her husband Steve, one daughter, Shirley Friesen (Jake) from Surrey, B.C., two sons, Ron Nickolievich and Chris Nickol (Gayle) grandchildren, Grant Friesen (Michelle) of Calgary, Paul Friesen of Victoria, B.C., Jennifer, Jayson and Brett Nickol and one great-granddaughter Madison of Calgary. Mom was born in Ukraine and came to Canada as a young lady. She met and married Steve at the age of 21. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage. Mom enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She loved her garden and cottage at Belair. Prayers will be said on Thursday, November 18, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, November 19, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Watt and Munroe with Rt. Rev. Mitrat Gregory Oucharyk officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gordon Stelman, Bruce Birdsell, Allan Grabinski, Taras Machula, Frank Greg and Gordon Labitka. The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to the ambulance attendants and the emergency staff at Concordia Hospital. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
