MARY THIESSEN 1907 - 1999 On Tuesday, November 16, 1999 at the Douglas Campbell Lodge, Portage la Prairie, Man., Mary Thiessen, age 92 years, went to her eternal rest. She was predeceased by her husband Abram J. Thiessen in 1990; one daughter; three sons-in-law; one daughter and one son in infancy, and four brothers. She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters, two sons and their families, and three sisters. Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler (121 8th St.) on Friday, November 19 from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church (189 2nd St.) with Rev. Abe Wiebe officiating. Interment will follow at the Plum Coulee Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6.
