Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERTHA DYKSTERHUIS (ROSSNAGEL) - (nee WUTKE) With deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great Great-Grandmother on Thursday, November 18, 1999 at the Deer Lodge Centre. Left to cherish her beautiful memory are her children, Fred Rossnagel (Marj), Ella Henderson (Jack), Adeline Vogt (Al), Ernie Rossnagel (Norma) and Marjorie Wright (Gordon) 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers. She was predeceased by Andrew Rossnagel in 1945 and John Dyksterhuis in 1974. Bertha was born in Waldersee, Manitoba on February 21, 1901 and has resided in Winnipeg since 1926. Mom was a loving and caring person who lived for her family. She enjoyed growing plants, keeping her hands busy with crafts, cooking, playing cards and her trips to visit her children and their families. On Monday, November 22 at 2:30 p.m., Berthas funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Deer Lodge Centre, 2nd floor, 2109 Portage Avenue with the Rev. Aubrey Hemminger officiating. Our family would like to express a special thanks to all the staff and volunteers on T6 of the Deer Lodge Centre for the loving care and compassion they showed our mother during the last three years. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Berthas memory may be made to the Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3J 0L3.
